Great dinner teamed with a very unique cinema
Now we’re in the depths of winter, why not enjoy dinner at The Pier
and then snuggle up for a film at the unique Electric Palace – one of the oldest purpose-built cinemas to survive – complete with its silent screen, original projection room and ornamental frontage. We serve the full à la carte menu in both restaurants from 6pm, so come down at 5.30pm, have a drink and order your meal, and you’ll be out in time for the 7.30pm performance. Golf Day 29th June 2009
This year's Golf Day was held at Ipswich Golf Club, the team prize was hotly contested but we're delighted we have new Champions in John Heath, Lester Foreman and Laurence Rutter. The event has only just taken place but we were urged to publish next year's date as soon as possible as it's become such a firm favourite. The date will be Monday 29th June at Braintree Golf Club by invitation of Karen Aslett, who will be Lady Captain there next year.
