The Harbourside Restaurant

For a very different, but very special experience, you will find it difficult to beat The Pier Hotel’s Harbourside Restaurant. With fishing boats bobbing only feet from the front door, you would expect the freshest of fish and you will not be disappointed.

The hotel has a nautical flavour throughout, and the kitchen, where chef Tom Bushell makes the most of all the fresh fish from the harbour.

On the first floor with large windows to make the most of the view, The Harbourside offers a sophisticated atmosphere and a wide-ranging seafood menu. Dishes vary from the traditional, such as a classic Dover sole, to the modern and oriental. There is an extensive wine list centred on white wines with a particularly strong South African selection.

Open from 12noon-2:00pm and 6:00-9:30pm.
