The Harbourside Restaurant
For a very different, but very special experience, you will find it difficult to beat The Pier Hotel’s Harbourside Restaurant. With fishing boats bobbing only feet from the front door, you would expect the freshest of fish and you will not be disappointed.
The hotel has a nautical flavour throughout, and the kitchen, where Chef Chris Oakley has been making the most of all the fresh fish for over twenty years, is the heart of the operation.
On the first floor with large windows to make the most of the view, The Harbourside offers a sophisticated atmosphere and a wide-ranging seafood menu. Dishes vary from the traditional, such as a classic Dover sole, to the modern and oriental. There is an extensive wine list centred on white wines with a particularly strong South African selection.
