Paul Milsom showed his pedal power earlier this month by taking part in the first stage of a charity bike ride in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
The managing director of the Milsom Hotels and Restaurants group completed the opening 90-mile leg of the Ipswich Town Football Club charity bike ride from Leyton Orient to Amsterdam, helping to raise funds for a very worthy cause along the way.
Paul joined the likes of Ipswich legend Simon Milton and former England international Luther Blissitt in an 18-strong team as they donned their lycra and set off on the first leg of the European adventure, which also helps raise funds to support the Tractor Boys’ Academy side.
The Ride to Amsterdam Challenge is organised in association with the Football League’s official charity partner, Prostate Cancer UK – a UK-based non-profit organisation providing information, support and funding research into this disease.
The cycling team are pictured enjoying a well-earned refreshment on the terrace at The Pier in Harwich.
