This Sunday sees Mick Mills and George Burley returning to Portman Road to manage Milsom’s Maestros and Wheeler Wine Masters in a charity match on the Portman Road pitch to raise funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the Ipswich Town Charitable Trust.

Events start at 12.30 pm with a Food & Wine Fair on the field turf behind the Britannia Stand, plus there’s activities for the kids, face painting, a football freestyle demonstration and a jazz band. We also have some pitchside entertainment, plus Club mascot, Bluey, will be making an appearance. The players will also be warming up on the field turf.

Kick off is at 3.00 pm with some great names from the past involved in the game, including Matt Holland, John Wark, Fabian Wilnis, Darren Currie, Marcus Garnham, Simon Milton, Neil Thompson, James Pullen, Jason Dozzell, Russell Osman, John McGreal, Mark Venus and James Scowcroft.
