Pupils from Kesgrave High School were given a special insight into the hospitality industry at milsoms Kesgrave Hall.

As part of a five-week course, youngsters from Year 8 made the short trip to The Hangar event venue at the Suffolk hotel for an event which combined the ‘Dragons’ Den’ model with a ‘Masterchef’ challenge.

Working in small groups, the pupils were asked to think of a restaurant theme, come up with a business plan and plan a menu, before getting the chance to question the Milsoms management team ahead of their final presentation – with a two course lunch at milsoms Kesgrave Hall up for grabs for the winning team!

Kesgrave Hall General Manager Oliver Richards said: “The pupils showed a genuine interest and there had obviously been a lot of thought put into the questions they asked when we had our Q&A session in The Hangar. We look forward to welcoming the winners for their prize lunch and continuing to work the Kesgrave High School.”
