Popular for weddings and special occasions, any type of party is special when it’s held at Le Talbooth.

Whether dining in the River Room or dancing in the dedicated outdoor Marquee – the location is picture perfect with green, immaculately landscaped gardens, the meandering River Stour and, of course, outstanding food, wine and service.

Maison Talbooth

Ever fancied an exclusive takeover of an entire country house hotel to share with just your closest friends, family or colleagues? Well you can do exactly that at Maison Talbooth in Dedham, with one of our famous House Parties.

Not only will you have all 12 bedrooms reserved for your party, but you can also make full use of the heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, or enjoy a knock-about on the tennis court with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Milsoms

If you’re looking for a smaller, more intimate party, then Milsoms is perfect for a relaxed celebration with friends or family in Essex.

There are two private spaces seating from eight to 24 guests. The larger of two, known as Mr G’s, has a dedicated kitchen and double doors that open out to a private terrace garden.

Private parties allow you to choose from our special menus and wine list whilst being served at your own pace by our dedicated team.

Milsoms Kesgrave Hall

The Hangar at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall is Suffolk’s most exciting wedding and party venue.

Set within a ‘stadium of woodland’, The Hangar has capacity for up to 300 guests and has been specifically designed for weddings, parties, product launches, corporate and private events.

Our wedding and events team are on hand to help with any organisation, theming and planning with event catering provided from The Hangar’s dedicated kitchens – prepared and served by the Milsoms Kesgrave Hall team, part of the Milsom Hotels & Restaurants group.

If you’re after a slightly smaller party or event, then choose from our three superb private rooms, accommodating up to 24 guests. The Mess is on the ground floor and has fabulous French windows looking out onto the gardens, while Bunker 1 and 2 have indoor and outdoor spaces, satellite kitchens and dedicated staff.

The Pier

If you’re looking for a unique place to hold a special party with friends and family then The Pier at Harwich could be just what you are looking for.

Enjoy an exclusive house party where you take over The Angel building and its seven bedrooms and large sitting room.

This is the ideal setting for an all-inclusive party for up to 14 guests including afternoon tea, champagne and canapes, dinner in The Saloon, and overnight accomodation.

The Saloon is a private dining space that is available for exclusive-use bookings for lunch or dinner. Looking out over the harbour and Ha’penny Pier, it’s perfect for private parties and corporate events.
