Safety measures

We work hard behind the scenes to ensure safety measures are in place to allow us to safely open our hotels and restaurants, and we adhere to the government guidelines at all times, updating the measures when necessary.

Restaurants and public areas for you, our guests:

  1. We will increase the provision for outdoor dining while ensuring one metre plus between tables, including extended covered areas and additional heaters
  2. We will put in place robust and systematic cleaning procedures of all areas and guest touch points
  3. All team members will be fully trained on the new procedures. Their temperatures will be checked on arrival at work and this information will be logged. Staff members will not be allowed to work if there are any concerns
  4. Antibacterial gel dispensers will be easily and readily available throughout our properties. In key outside areas, there will also be mobile hand wash stations
  5. We will be implementing single-use menus, as well as mobile-device ordering and contactless payment
  6. Directional arrows will be in place to indicate one-way systems where feasible
  7. We have installed protective screens in our properties where it is deemed necessary
  8. Our teams will be wearing face coverings in line with the government guidelines
  9. We follow the guidelines for Track & Trace with regard to recording contact details for our restaurant and hotel customers

Bedrooms:

  1. We have our own in-house laundry and therefore all our linen will be washed and ironed to the correct temperatures
  2. PPE will be used by all housekeepers where appropriate
  3. The rooms will be cleaned thoroughly following a guest’s stay, with all hard surfaces then wiped down with Sporicidal disinfectant
  4. If you stay for two nights or more, our team will discuss your requirements for cleaning.

Spa Kesgrave Hall and Treatment Rooms, Dedham:

  1. We have put in place robust & systematic cleaning procedures of all areas and guest touch points
  2. The treatment rooms are cleaned thoroughly following each client, with all hard surfaces wiped down with sporicidal disinfectant
  3. All tools and equipment will be sterilised after client and disposal will be used where appropriate
  4. All team members are fully trained on the new procedures. Their temperatures are checked on arrival at work and this information is logged. Staff members are not allowed to work if we/they have any concerns
  5. Antibacterial gel dispensers are easily and readily available
  6. We have installed protective screens in our reception area
  7. We are wearing appropriate PPE when carrying out treatments
  8. We have our own in-house laundry and therefore all our towels are washed to the correct temperature
