Dining on the terrace at Le Talbooth beside the river Stour has to be one of the joys of an English summer. The restaurant enjoys a superb riverside position on the Essex and Suffolk border and is the number one choice for discerning guests at any time of year but especially in the summer.
Once again, Le Talbooth head chef Andy Hirst has given us the perfect summer lunch menu which can be enjoyed from Monday to Saturday. Let the team know when you arrive whether you are having an leisurely lunch with friends and family or a business lunch with clients or associates when time matters, either way we’ll ensure that you are looked after to perfection. The Summer Menu starts on Monday 10th June and will continue throughout June, July and August (and hopefully into September, weather permitting!)
The Summer Terrace menu has been chosen with light seasonal food in mind, such as native Lobster as a starter or a main, Fruit de Mer Royale for two, grilled Dover sole or local asparagus as a starter and of course, a selection of delicious deserts. The Talbooth front of house team are also more than happy to suggest the perfect wine to accompany your lunch.
