Choosing a new house Champagne is a serious business which takes place every two years at Milsom Hotels & Restaurants.

All our suppliers are asked to submit bottles that fall into the remit for a house Champagne. This is followed by a tasting panel including directors, general managers as well as several of our Champagne drinking customers.

A total of 16 Champagnes were tasted this year and following a process of elimination over the course of 2-3 hours, Taittinger was selected as the outright winner.
