The Pier at Harwich was delighted to host a visit from The Globe Trotter recently. This was the second visit to a Milsom Hotel (the previous review was for Milsoms Kesgrave Hall) so we couldn’t wait to see hear their views on our Harwich hotel. Unfortunately, Essex didn’t exactly show herself off with blue skies and sunshine but nevertheless an excellent review!
The review opened with “The Pier Hotel in Harwich is a charming seaside hotel. The small hotel (it has just 14 bedrooms) is informal but has tasteful decor with impressive attention to detail. We arrived at The Pier on a Friday afternoon having faced some delays on the motorway and we were ready for some downtime in our room. The check-in was quick. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room. The room was compact but lovely and with a wonderful view of the estuary. With a cup of tea in hand (I liked the selection of Novus tea that was provided) we spent some relaxing time looking at ships go by”.
The review carries on with an in-depth report of the visit as well as some great images both inside and out – read the full review here
