Great hotel and wonderful restaurant
My husband and I stayed at Maison Talbooth in the middle of the week in November and were so pleased with the room, service and especially the quality of the restaurant that I felt it important to let them know how much we appreciated it.
It isn’t easy to keep high standards when there are only four diners during mid week; but that is exactly what the chef at the Maison Talbooth restaurant accomplished.
We had two wonderful fish dishes including the special Dover Sole and were really impressed with both the quality of the locally sourced ingredients and the excellent preparation.
We finished our meal with a wonderful assortment of French cheeses which were at their peak of freshness and quality.
The service at the restaurant was both friendly and professional.
The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful and the quality of the food at breakfast was again excellent with wonderful farm fresh eggs, fresh squeezed orange and apple juice and a great selection of breads, fruit, and cereals.
We would return to this hotel and recommend it unconditionally.
