The Hightide Festival 2013 in Halesworth, Suffolk runs from the 2-12 May and is the largest and most diverse programme yet with over 80 individual performances. The Festival will be presenting work from local, national and international playwrights, with five exceptional works of new writing receiving their world premiere at the Festival.

HighTide Festival 2013 highlights include the premiere of the Verity Bargate Award winning Pastoral by Thomas Eccleshare, Smallholding on the main stage, a debut play by Chris Dunkley, two European premieres, Moth by Declan Greene and Neighbors by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins following a successful reading at last year’s Festival and Luke Barnes’ acclaimed Bottleneck concludes its national tour at the Festival.
The Festival is thrilled to welcome Hackney Colliery Band, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Thom Tuck to the festival for late night events, and Stephen Poliakoff, Roger Michell and Michael Frayn for talks.
Halesworth is some 25 minutes from Kesgrave Hall 4 Star Boutique Hotel by car.
