‘Staycation’ seems to be the word of the moment; not to be outdone we think it perfectly describes a stay at Maison Talbooth in the heart of the Dedham Vale during the Autumn months of September and October.

The hotel has everything you need to ‘stay’ from fabulous bedrooms, day spa, outdoor pool, hot tub, tennis court plus our two great restaurants a minute away in our courtesy car.

Why Three, Two, One … you can either stay for three nights, two nights or one night – or more of course!

  • Three nights bed and continental breakfast ( in your room, alternatively pop down to Milsoms for a full breakfast included in the price) from just £300 per person
  • Two nights bed and continental breakfast (in your room or at Milsoms for a full breakfast included in the price) from £225 per person
  • One night ‘Gourmet Getaway’ from £199.50 per person includes a full or continental breakfast and a delicious dinner at Le Talbooth

The area offers plenty of things to do and see, such as walking, cycling, canoeing and paddle boarding from the doorstep or riverbank – we can arrange day hire (including safety equipment) or even three-day-hire so you can try all three pursuits! The Suffolk and Essex coasts are also just a short drive away, waiting to be discovered.

And a quick shout out for the Treatment Rooms who can now at last offer the full range of treatments including fabulous facials by Elemis.  We are really excited to introduce the Elemis brand of therapies, products and treatments so make sure you book a spa treatment or maybe a half day spa during your stay with us!

And of course, the best part of staying at Maison Talbooth is the restaurants, with Le Talbooth, our three-rosette riverside restaurant, and Milsoms, a relaxed brasserie, just one minute away. Both offer great dining experiences, have brilliant spaces for outside dining and, of course, strictly adhere to the safety guidelines.

We have just heard that the Munnings Museum at Castle House in Dedham re-opens on the 2nd September; the house is well worth a visit and shows the life and work of Sir Alfred Munnings who lived in the house in his later years
