Thank you all so much for your amazing support of our restaurants and hotels over the summer. After nearly four months of closure it has been great to be back trading and to see so many people having such a wonderful time. I have lost count of those telling me that they have entrusted their first meal out to us after lockdown, which has been a huge compliment to our Business and greatly uplifting to our team.
The spectacular summer and early autumn has seen our outside dining areas used to their full potential. We have put just as much effort into our indoor spaces so they work under the new restrictions. I am therefore confident; we can continue to offer you the same quality of food and service throughout the next few months in a safe environment.
It can be difficult keeping up with the new government rules, as they change almost daily. But we are determined to be here to provide you with a little bit of normality during these challenging times; even if you can only visit us in groups of up to 6. Rest assured, we will be going the extra mile at Christmas to make all the properties look better than ever and to give you even more reasons to come to see us. We are all going to need to think differently, so instead of booking for 12 people, just visit us twice with 6. It will cost the same but you’ll get double the enjoyment with your family, friends or colleagues.
I guess the biggest change is the 10.00pm curfew, which means everyone is going to have to come out earlier in the evening. Fortunately, with so many working from home this has been the trend over the last few months anyway, but it will be a challenge on Friday and Saturday nights. The Pier, Milsoms and Milsoms Kesgrave Hall are open all day which will help. Their last food orders have moved forward to 8.30pm with last orders at the bar around 9.30. At Le Talbooth, we have moved our evening opening time to 5.45/6.00pm, with our last food order at 8.00pm.
