Following the restoration of the stunning Electric Palace Cinema in Harwich supported by the Lottery Heritage Fund, we were really keen to support them after the pandemic, so last year The Pier and the Electric Palace Cinema collaborated to create film and food Movie Nights!
These nights have been amazingly popular and developed a real following – so far we have shown both Mamma Mia films, Love Actually, and The Greatest Showman. Each evening consists of a screening of the film, followed by a three-course dinner at The Pier (with a new menu for each event), and a welcome cocktail included in the ticket price.
