The annual Golf Day is always one of the favourite days in our diary, this year is no exception as we celebrate 70 years of the Talbooth Restaurant which means we’re planing to make the 2022 Golf Day extra special and memorable.
We are delighted to announce that Ronan Rafferty will be joining us for the day at Colchester Golf Club. Ronan is the Northern Irish professional golfer who formerly played on the European Tour and was in the European team who retained the Ryder Cup at the Belfry in 1989. For a bit of fun, all players will all get a chance to ‘beat the pro’ on a Par 3, before Ronan joins us for the prizegiving and an after-dinner Q&A session in the Talbooth Marquee.
The day starts with bacon rolls and coffee in the clubhouse, followed by 18 holes of golf, then back to the Talbooth Restaurant for a reception beside the River Stour, followed by a delicious three course dinner with chosen wines.
The date is Monday 27th June at Colchester Golf Club with teams of four.
£175 per person for golf, bacon roll, coffee, evening reception and three course dinner with chosen wines. Additional guests are more than welcome to join is for dinner for £90 per person for evening reception and three course dinner with chosen wines.
