From the moment we stepped into Milsoms again we were greeted warmly (The Manager whom we had met previously at our nephew’s wedding in August and another staff member who was on duty too was great )nothing at all was any trouble. The hospitality you give is truly excellent in all areas…the simplest of things you do, does make that touch…. Again we loved our room, food and wine!
Our stay @ The Kesgrave was stunning. We felt very privileged and loved our stay in the room. The warm greeting we received at the reception on arrival and again on departure was perfect! We were asked about our walk and interest and interaction were shown .. again the simplest of touches do make it. What we did notice was, when the reception staff were checking us out, a lady came from the back office and enquired if we had enjoyed our stay, and again great interaction was commented on. Thank you.
We must say though a special nod to the lovely young staff member whom came to pick us up from the Maybush Inn; truly lovely …. We were laughing because we thought we were running late that day as our 2nd walk seemed to take much longer; but we asked if we could be cheeky and have a couple of drinks as a celebratory achievement and that was no issue at all and the staff member gave us an hour and arrived for us as planned. In fact the staff member was waiting in the car park and we were waiting outside and they felt they should apologise to us… not the case at all! We engaged in conversation throughout the drive back to Kesgrave and it was easy banter…just great. A credit to the hotel ….
Actually that is something that has to be acknowledged throughout our stay that staff we engaged with feel recognised for their hard work and that today in the hospitality industry is something one should be proud of…
The evening meal was superb, the staff member on duty that evening was excellent and we engaged in a conversation with them about the party that had been held at The Talbooth on the Sunday evening (Employer of the Year). Again they spoke about recognition and thoroughly enjoyed the evenings entertainment. They also apologised because we had actually been invited to a Taster Evening @ The Pier but was unfortunately cancelled … (thank you for the invitation to that)!
Again on the check out (different member of staff ) was delightful …
As mentioned earlier our nephew Jack now lives in the area and we spent a few days with himself and his husband after our stay. We had nothing but praise and have highly recommended this Milsom Way Walk to his colleagues, friends and family.
An absolute great experience and superb value for money too…thank you .
May we extend our kindest regards to everyone and warmly wish you continued successes in all areas of your establishments.
